In this lesson (4 of 7) you're going to learn how to add Automatic Captions to your videos in Brivvio.
Adding captions increases the reach of your videos by up to 900%. That's because 90% of online videos are watched with the sound off. If you don't have captions on your videos, those 9 out of 10 people are likely to just skip past and ignore you.
The Add Captions button in the top right of Review Mode will let you add automatic AI generated captions to your video. They're super accurate, and you always have the option of editing them using Brivvio's amazingly intuitive Captions Editor once generated.
It usually only takes about 45 seconds to generate captions for your video. The button will change state to tell you it's working, or done.
You can also add words or phrases to your personal custom dictionary, which improves the accuracy of the captions.
When the captions button looks like this, that means it's working. You can to edit your branding and format of the video while it's working. You'll be notified when it's ready.
The Edit Captions button will display when your captions are ready. Tap to open Brivvio's amazing intuitive Captions Editor.
You can also export an SRT file, and turn the captions on/off.
PRO TIP: While editing captions in the Caption Editor, you can playback the audio for the current caption line. Just tap the play button at the top of the caption editor keyboard. This is very handy if you can't quire remember what you said :)
